MATH 2300: Calculus 2

Introduction

This course is a continuation of MATH 1300: Calculus 1. Throughout the semester, we will explore techniques of integration, improper integrals, and applications of integration, alongside sequences, series, and differential equations.

Our course follows an active learning model. Research indicates that mathematics is mastered through participation rather than observation. To support this, our sections are kept small to facilitate group work, problem-solving, and conceptual discovery.

Final exam can replace lowest grade.
Final Exam 20% Comprehensive Exam.
Written Homework 10% Lowest 2 scores dropped.
WebAssign 10% Up to 10% of total points can be missed without penalty.
Weekly Work (Quizzes) 10% Lowest 2 scores dropped. No make-ups.
Recitation Projects 5% Lowest 3 scores dropped. No make-ups.
