Research

My research is in knot theory and low-dimensional topology. I study algebraic invariants of knots and links, especially those arising from Khovanov homology, knot Floer homology, and annular Khovanov homology. I am particularly interested in how the structure of these invariants, together with computation, can be used to better understand topological phenomena.
