Prime Bits is the principle vehicle through which the Department keeps in touch with its wonderful family of alumni and friends. This annual newsletter was started and then edited for decades by Professor Emeritus William B. (Bill) Jones.
There is a meme that dates back to 1940s Washington DC circles, that “journalism is the first rough draft of history.” Indeed, looking over the past issues of Prime Bits gives a rich sense of the life and history of the Department over the past generations.
