Did you know that one can deduce the irrationality of nth roots of 2 from Fermat's last theorem? Or that Cayley's theorem (every group is isomorphic to a subgroup of a symmetric group) follows as a special case of the Yoneda lemma? In this lighthearted talk we will prove a multitude of theorems using unconventional techniques. The only criteria is that the proof must be short, beautiful, and unexpected. We will end with a proof from THE BOOK.
