Everyone likes playing games. But, did you know that certain types of games can be used to study the properties of sets? We will discuss finite and infinite two-player games with perfect information and no draws or randomness, and analyze whether these games are determined (whether one of the players must have a winning strategy). We will end with a discussion of some examples of infinite games that give us information about the pay-off set when either player 1 or player 2 have winning strategies.
