Origami, the art of paper folding, is hundreds of years old, and yet, it continues to evolve as we embrace its underlying mathematical structure. This talk will introduce some of the mathematical ideas prominent in paper folding, including a brief discussion of the Huzita-Justin axioms and an interactive demonstration in which we will trisect an angle and double a cube.
