Conference Rates

We have secured `conference rates' at several nearby hotels. These rates have July deadlines (see below). We will be arranging a shuttle schedule with these hotels, to transport participants to campus (further details TBA). Please note the conference runs the morning of Tuesday the 11th until midday Saturday the 15th. (You will probably want to check in on the 10th.)

  1. Courtyard by Marriott $125/double or king (check in 10th or later, check out 15th or earlier (you can change dates shown on the link)). The Courtyard is downtown, about 17 minutes walk from the conference venue, and 5 minutes walk from the train station. Internet included; parking $26/night.   2. Wyndham Garden $95/double (check in 10th or later; check out 16th or earlier). Deadline for booking: July 31st. The Wyndham Garden is near India Point Park, about 20 minutes walk from the conference venue, and 35 minutes walk from the train station downtown. Internet and parking included.   3. Hampton Inn & Suites $139/double or king (check in 10th or later; check out 16th or earlier). Deadline for booking: July 17th. The Hampton Inn is downtown, about 15 minutes walk from the conference venue, and 10 minutes walk from the train station. Internet and breakfast included; parking $28/night. Other Options

In booking your own hotel, keep in mind that staying downtown or near campus will allow you to walk to all conference events (all events are on Brown University campus, except the banquet, which is likely to be downtown). The walk from campus to downtown is around 20 minutes. Below we have included some other downtown hotels.
