| A brief course descriptionWe will begin with the usual (characteristic zero) representation theory of finite dimensional algebras with an emphasis on the tools necessary to construct the representations of the complex reflection groups and their Hecke algebras. If time an interest allows we may explore modular representation theory, the representation theory of compact groups, or symmetric function theory. | Useful links
