Personal

I moved to the US with my wife (Antonella), our two dogs (Capo and Vito, both miniature schnauzers) and our cat (Bimba) back in August 2016. We have a son, Matías, who was born in 2021.

In June 2023, Antonella completed her PhD in School Pshychology at the UO under the supervision of Nicole Giuliani. Her work focuses mainly on on understanding the behavioral and mental health needs of Latino mother-child dyads. Antonella is currently a Professional Research Assistant at the Renée Crown Wellness Institute. Previously, she was a GE at the Child and Familly Center and, in Spring 2023, she completed her doctoral intership at Springfield Public Schools. We've been married since 2016 and we've been together since 2007 when we were both still in highschool.

Vito and me, 2017.

When we are not busy with teaching or doing research you'll probably find us walking Vito, hiking, at the movies, skiing, playing tennis or hanging out with friends.

Sadly, Capo died of cancer back in January 2019. He was 10 years old. I mange an instagram account where I try to regularly post pictures of our pets, mostly Vito nowadays but you can scroll down and find pictures of Capo and Bimba as well.
