Parking

The website for visitor parking at CU is http://www.colorado.edu/parking/parking/visitor/index.html.

The probably least expensive way to park on campus is to get a temporary parking pass from Parking and Transportation Services located at 1050 Regent Drive. (This is marked in yellow on the right side of the map (pdf file).) Their summer hours are 7:30am--4:30pm.

The closest lot to the lecture site, Eaton Humanities, is Lot 380. (This is marked in blue on the map (pdf file), north of Norlin library.) If Lot 380 is not available, then there are some overflow lots, Lot 136 or Lot 169 (marked in yellow), which are a bit further away.

Internet

Wireless internet access will be provided.

Places to eat

  • On or near campus:
    • University Memorial Center (UMC), see Campus Map
    • The Hill lies directly west of campus. Its central street, 13th Street, features an eclectic mix of restaurants. The best way to get to the Hill from the conference venue is to walk west through campus.
  • Pearl Street Mall:
One of the most popular areas to eat is the pedestrian mall on Pearl Street. On and near Pearl Street there many excellent restraunts serving a wide variety of cuisine. The easiest way to get to Pearl Street is either to walk or take the HOP or the SKIP bus on campus or on Broadway.
