From the Airport To Boulder

The nearest major airport is Denver International Airport (DIA). From the airport, one can reach Boulder by shuttle, bus, taxi or car.

By Shuttle
For many people the simplest way to get to and from the airport will be to take the Boulder Shuttle.

By Bus (RTD = Denver: Regional Transportation District)
The bus between Boulder and the Denver International Airport (DIA) can be boarded at the DEN Transit Center adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport. The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of the Jeppesen Terminal: exit through the glass doors and take the escalator down to ground level. An RTD day pass costs $10, and it is valid for travel between DIA and Boulder. Exact change in cash is required when boarding the bus. Cash, credit, and debit cards are accepted at rail station ticket vending machines. The AB1 schedule is HERE. You can transfer to local Boulder buses at the terminal stop (Downtown Boulder Station). A 3-hour pass for local travel in Boulder costs $2.75. (A 3-hour pass cannot be used for travel to the airport without an Airport Upgrade.)
Warning: Boulder cannot be reached from the airport by train. The A-Line train at the airport, which is called `University of Colorado' does not go to Boulder.

By Taxi
There is a $115.04 flat rate per cab to take passengers between Boulder and the Denver International Airport (one-way fare, airport access fee already included). No other stops may be made along the way. The flat rate applies regardless of the number of passengers that share a ride.
