By Shuttle
For many people the simplest way to get from and to the airport will be to take the Green Ride.
By Bus
You can catch the AB Boulder (also called the SkyRide) from the Denver International Airport at the DEN Transit Center, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport. The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of the Jeppesen Terminal, exit through the glass doors and take the escalator down to ground level. Bus fare is $9. Exact change in cash is required on the bus. Cash, credit, and debit cards are accepted at rail station ticket vending machines. Buses depart every 15 minutes during peak hours. The AB schedule is HERE. Not all Boulder hotels are served by the AB bus, but connections can be made at the Boulder Transit Center. The closest AB stop to the Best Western hotel is at Broadway and Baseline, which comes after the Broadway and 27th Way stop and before the Broadway and Euclid stop. This stop is about half a mile from the hotel (walk this way.) Local bus fares are $2.60/ride.
By Taxi
There is a $88.15 flat rate per cab to take passengers between Boulder and the Denver International Airport. No other stops may be made along the way. The flat rate applies regardless of the number of passengers that share a ride. Some cab companies are listed in the Quick Links.
By Car
If you choose to drive in from the airport, it is important to
find some (any) route through Denver to the US-36 W, which then leads
directly to Boulder. One method: head south from the airport,
immediately upon leaving the airport take the ramp onto Pena Blvd, after 11 miles merge onto
I-70 W, after 4 miles take I-270 W, after 6.5 miles take US-36 W.
After an additional 20 miles the US-36 W becomes 28th Street in
Boulder, which enters town close to the university and to hotels.
If you choose to drive to Boulder from a different location, you will probably
have time to consult Google maps or MapQuest before you start your trip.
