Course Contents:

Acquaints students with calculus of one variable. Topics include the real number system, continuity, differentiation, sequences, convergence, uniform convergence, Taylor's theorem, and integration.

Lecture Hours and Venue:

MWF 12:40 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., KOBL 123.

Office Hours:

Mon. 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Fr. 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., and by appointment

Homework:

Homework assignments will be given on the course homepage on a bi-weekly basis. Homework is due at the beginning of each class on the second Friday following the assignment. It is the student's responsibility to get these assignments in the event of an absence from class. Homework will be graded. Late turn-ins will not be accepted. Show all your work.

Exams:

Course Grading:

Your grade will be determined from the graded homework (50%), the midterm (20%), and the final exam (30%).
