• Do exercises 11 and 12 on p. 508 of Needham.
• Recall that the Gamma function is meromorphic on the complex plane and satisfies \( \Gamma(s+1) = s \Gamma(s) \) for every complex number \( s \) and \( \Gamma(1) = 1 \). Show that \( \Gamma \) has poles at the negative integers and compute the residues at them.
• Start reading §§3.5.3, 3.5.4, 3.6. Optional : read all of §3.5.
• Assign yourself a grade for this assignment :
