Your chats are not private. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information. This tool sends your messages, documents, and images to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), who process them under their own policies. Chats are not stored on math.colorado.edu; large uploaded files are held only briefly on the server while you use them, and may also be retained by the providers. Messages and files may be saved by the providers and may be visible in logs. Review CU’s AI guidance before use. For certain confidential data, use your ChatGPT EDU account instead, per university guidance.
