Coxeter groups and regular polytopes IIRichard Green, CU |
February 10, 2009 AbstractRegular polytopes are the n-dimensional analogs of the Platonic solids. In this talk, I will sketch how the theory of Coxeter groups can be used to classify the regular polytopes. The classification includes higher dimensional analogs of the tetrahedron, the cube and the octahedron, and several exceptional cases. |
