MATH 2135 Spring 2018

Course description

The official title of this course is Linear Algebra for Mathematics Majors. The course provides an introduction to the study of vector spaces and linear maps, including the topics of systems of linear equations, matrices, linear independence, dimension, inner products, determinants, eigenvalues, eigenvectors and diagonalization. The course is recommended for students who plan to major in mathematics. Prerequisites: MATH 2300 or APPM 1360, and MATH 2001.

Grading

Homework and Quizzes 15%, Midterm I 25%, Midterm II 25%, Final 35%.
