Columbia
University
The workshop "Perspectives on Complex Algebraic Geometry"
will be held at Columbia University, from May 22 to May
25, 2015.
This workshop will survey
recent developments in the field of complex algebraic
geometry, with a focus on the following three themes: The
topology and geometry of algebraic surfaces and 4-manifolds,
Vector bundles and G-bundles, and Geometric applications of
Hodge theory.
The workshop celebrates the achievements and influence of
Robert Friedman, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
