I tutor students in elementary through undergraduate mathematics, with the exception of students taking a course at CU that I am currently teaching (Calculus II in Fall 2020).
My current rate is $40/hour. Please contact me via email if interested.
When not doing math, I like to hike (working towards completing the CO 14ers), ski (previously in resorts but preparing for the backcountry, I also xc ski), play sports (I played football at my undergrad), lift, and take advantage of being outdoors in beautiful Boulder, CO.
I listen to a lot of podcasts; my favorites include: Revisionist History, Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!, The NPR Politics Podcast, The FiveThirtyEight Politics Podcast, Shortwave, The Argument, Planet Money, ThroughLine, RadioLab, Freakonomics Radio, Hidden Brain, The Daily, The Indicator From Planet Money, and Pardon My Take.
I'm a country music fan; my favorite artists include: George Strait, Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe, Randy Travis, Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Alan Jackson, George Jones, Dwight Yoakam, Buck Owens, Cody Jinks, and Tyler Childers, among others.
I don't follow sports as closely as I would like to, but the one I watch closest is baseball and I am a lifelong New York Yankees fan.
