Analysis 1

Course Description
Provides a rigorous treatment of the basic results from elementary Calculus. Topics include the topology of the real line, sequences of numbers, continuous functions, differentiable functions, and the Riemann integral. Prereq., MATH 2001.

      S. R. Lay, Analysis with an introduction to proof (4th Edition).

Some other introductory books on the subject:
      W. Rudin, Principles of mathematical analysis (3rd Edition).

There will be homework assignments posted online.
