Directions
- Boulder is served by
Denver International Airport (DIA).
From there you may:
- Take Boulder
Super Shuttle which will drop you directly at your hotel.
- Take the RTD AB bus which has stops along Broadway in
Boulder. Walkable to all hotels in question (get off at Broadway and
Baseline), though the walk to Chautauqua
requires a bit of determination.
The fair
is $11; the schedule is here.
At DIA pick up the AB by exiting West Door 506, or East Door 511 at the Baggage Claim level, then go to Island 5.
- Or, if renting a car...
- The conference site,
Chautauqua Park, is located at 900 Baseline Road, Boulder, 80302 (Google
Map). Talks will take place in the Community House (Google
Map). Here as well is a map of Chautauqua Park.
- To the conference room:
Take Baseline Rd. west, and turn left just after 9th St. into the
main entrance to Chautauqua. Follow that main road as it curves
around past the parking lots and trailhead. Turn left on Morning
Glory Drive. The last big house on your left is the Community House.
- Around Boulder
- From noon to 10 pm
the free HOP 2 Chautauqua Shuttle runs
every 15 minutes, linking Chautauqua with downtown, the Basemar Shopping
Center,
and the 27th Way
Park-n-Ride. Other local buses have charming names like the HOP, SKIP,
BOUND,
JUMP, STAMPEDE, BOLT, DASH and a fare of $1.75 (exact
change required).
You can check the schedule of these local buses
at the RTD website, http://www.rtd-denver.com/, and
click "Schedules". Here though is a route map
for these plus the free HOP 2 Chautauqua.
- If needed, 303-777-7777 will get you a yellow cab.
