The Syllabus is the contract between you and me about how the course will be run and what the rules and guidelines are. As you read the Syllabus, look specifically for information on the following topics:
• The textbook for the course
• What the course is about, who should be taking the course,
and prerequisites for the course
• Homework Policies
• Midterm Exam Policies
• Final Exam Policies
• Calculators on Exams
• How your semester grade will be computed
• Testing accommodations if you have a disability
• Classroom behavior
• Academic Honesty

The
Schedule lays out the course on a day-by-day basis, specifying:
• when each homework assignment is due and what problems from which textbook section(s) each homework covers,
• the dates of the Midterm Exams and what textbook sections each exam covers,
• the date and time of the Final Exam.

The Department of Mathematics is offering any undergraduate enrolled in any course offered by the Math Department a place to obtain help with their mathematical studies. This
Undergraduate Mathematics Resource Center (UMRC), also known as the "Help Lab" is staffed by graduate students from the Department of Mathematics who will be there to help students on a first-come first-served basis. The Help Lab is located in Math 175 and is open Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm, and Friday 8am-2pm.
